Called by the Water, funded by the Touba Family Foundation, is the first in a LGHA book series relating to Lake George and its people, culture, history and events. This 52-page book by Gwenne Rippon tells the remarkable story of the first person, Diane Struble, to swim the length of Lake George in 1958, from her daughter Gwenne’s perspective, and it includes many mid-century Lake George personalities and news articles relating to the iconic event.
